The Midstream & Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund (MDGIF) has approved an estimated ₦671 billion in Final Investment Decisions (FIDs) within two years of its inception. This initiative aims to convert Nigeria's substantial natural gas resources into essential infrastructure.
The fund's strategy involves deploying capital into commercially viable gas infrastructure projects. These include the development of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Liquefied Natural Gas (LCNG) stations, gas processing plants, pipelines, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) storage facilities, and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facilities.
